Cathal P Grant MD In our Opinion Claim before the State Medical Board that does not hold up he lied flat out

In his statement to the Texas Medical Board in the Case of Kathy and her husband he claimed informed consent in our opinion Dr. Cathal P Grant MD, Bedford, Texas lied for these reasons:

In his book Psychiatric Malpractice James L. Kelly States:

“Psychiatrists have a legal duty to inform patients of their diagnosis, the available treatment options, the cost, benefits, and risks of each option, including the option of no treatment – all in a language the patient can understand. Patients are supposed to digest this information and give their “informed consent” to the recommended treatment, to another treatment, or to decline treatment altogether” Dr. Cathal P Grant MD, Bedford, Texas in our experience lied to the Medical Board that this occurred what really happened was the practice described in Your drug may be your problem by Peter R. Breggin, M.D. and David Cohen, PH. D. ” some doctors purposely withhold information about the dangers of drugs for fear that their patients will refuse to take them. Because they believe that the patient need the medication, they prescribe it without providing sufficient information for the patient to make an independent decision. This unethical and potentially illegal practice is especially common among psychiatrists, many of whom harbor patronizing attitude toward patients”. In our opinion this word for word is Dr. Cathal P Grant MD, Bedford, Texas, and one thing is you must be in the room to get “informed consent” which Dr. Cathal P Grant MD, Bedford, Texas, never was. and it is our experience his nurse practitioner Sharon D Walters RN, CNS, PMHNP, Bedford, Texas, never got “informed consent” either all she did was sling a prescription and say “get this filled”, the patients never know for either in our experience the adverse reaction of the drugs given, if the family notices problems they are ignored, it is in our opinion these people practice in the most unethical method as has been described above, and then lied about it to the Texas State Medical Board.

Kathy’ s husband kept telling Dr. Cathal P Grant MD, Bedford, Texas about her increasing volient mood before she attacked him because of the SSRI Dr. Cathal P Grant MD, Bedford, Texas, had her on well here is the proof the husband was right and Dr. Cathal P Grant MD, Bedford, Texas was wrong:
