Cathal P Grant MD Bedford Cathal Grant MD Bedford Texas In our Opinion knows the SSRI class of drugs causes Mania and Violehe prescribes them like candy

From the book The Anti Depressant Fact Book by Peter R. Breggin, M.D.

“SSRIs, of which (of which Cymbalta is that class of drug) can cause mania…. It is worth quoting once again from the American Psychiatric Association’s Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, IV (1994), when it observes ”symptoms like those seen in a manic episode may also be priests imitated by anti-depression treatments such as medication”.

Dr. Mark Hyman on Antidepressants:

 Watch this video:

The diagnostic manual also makes clear that mania is commonly associated with violence and other criminal acts, and that the behavior, although psychotic can be very purposeful  or  ”goal- directed”, quotation closed. For example, the diagnostic manual states patients often display here to build the, particularly when the person’s wishes are toward. Furthermore, the individual may experience” negative consequences of actions that result from poor judgment (e.g., financial losses, illegal activities, loss of employment, assaultive behavior)”.   Note especially the mention of ”illegal activities” and “assaultive behavior”. The description of mania also notes that “Some individuals, especially those with psychotic features, they become physically assaulted or suicidal”. The manual also notes, mood may shift rapidly to anger or depression. These statements are occurring in the same section entitled “Manic Episode” in which it stated that antidepressants cause mania.

As described earlier, the American Psychiatric Association’s Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental   Disorders is the official source for the diagnostics in psychiatry it is used in most research, and the FDA approval process, and by insurance carriers. Furthermore, the material in the manual reflects a consensus among recognized experts in the particular area that is being discussed. Given that the conservative diagnostic manual makes clear that antidepressants cause mania and then mania can produce the goal directed criminal acts, anger, violence, depression, and suicide no physician should doubt that antidepressants cause acts of violence or suicide.”

In our opinion Cathal Grant has purposely ignored the American Psychiatric Association Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of mental health disorders when Kathy’s husband both in writing and verbally warned him of the increasing violent, aggressive, and manic behavior she was exhibiting. It is our opinion the Cathal Grant purposely ignored all these warnings that resulted in the attack upon Kathy’s husband by her resulting in an injury to him, we regard this as a purposeful act of malpractice on the part of Cathal Grant and what for money, and not for the good of the patient or their no problem marriage of 25 years. It is our opinion the Cathal Grant should no longer be allowed to practice medicine in the state of Texas or the North Texas area and that all hospitals in the area that I has given him hospital privileges should revoke those privileges as soon as possible for the public good. It is also our opinion that all parties reading this blog should spread the word that Cathal Grant should be boycotted to the extent that his practice should be shut down and he is forced to not only with his practice these forced to leave the North Texas area.

Dr. Cathal P Grant MD, Bedford,Texas had even ignored in our opinion this risk  letter for one of the drug companies:

GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) Paxil Suicide Risk Warning letter

The fact are here about SSRI Drug and Dr. Cathal P Grant MD, Bedford,Texas still prescribes them like candy:

Serotonin and Depression: A Disconnect between the Advertisements and the Scientific Literature

Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitor (SSRI) Drugs More Risks Than Benefits?

Suicidality, violence and mania caused by SSRI Drugs

Add in our experience something Dr. Cathal P Grant MD, Bedford,Texas never does:

SSRI Informed Consent requires Full and Complete Disclosure

Can long-term treatment with antidepressant drugs worsen depression

Dr. Breggin MD testomy before Congress in 2010 on antidepressant drugs causing increased suicide, violence & mania in the military
